J.P. Morgan has announced that it has become a principal member of Cartes Bancaires CB, the
French interbank network for payment cards. This move solidifies J.P. Morgan’s presence in the European
payments landscape and opens up new opportunities for the company in the French market.

Cartes Bancaires CB is one of the largest payment networks in Europe, with over 60 million cards in circulation
and more than 1.9 billion transactions processed annually. By becoming a principal member of Cartes Bancaires
CB, J.P. Morgan will be able to issue payment cards that are accepted across the network and participate in
the development of new payment solutions in France.

“We are thrilled to become a principal member of Cartes Bancaires CB,” said John Doe, CEO of J.P.
Morgan Europe. “This partnership will enable us to offer our clients in France access to a wider range of
payment services and further strengthen our position in the European market.”

In addition to joining Cartes Bancaires CB, J.P. Morgan has also announced plans to expand its presence in
other European markets. The company recently opened a new office in Milan, Italy, as part of its strategy to
grow its payments business in Southern Europe.
